A lady(name withheld) has reportedly died on Tuesday morning in an hotel in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State capital, owned by a popular politician.
The hotel is located adjacent a private radio station on NTA road, Ado-Ekiti.
It was gathered that the lady who slumped in the bathroom, was confirmed dead shortly after she was rushed to the hospital.
Sources revealed that the deceased was a staff member of the hotel, adding that she was hale and hearty when she reported for duty.
Confirming the incident the Public Relations Officer of Ekiti State Police Command, SP Sunday Abutu, said investigation was ongoing.
Abutu stated that some of the hotel staff would be brought in for questioning to ascertain the cause of her death.
He also said that an autopsy would be carried out to assist in the investigation.
