
The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has described the recent promotion of staff members of the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC) as “a major milestone” achievement of his 21 months administration.
Thefrontrank reports that Aiyedatiwa assumed office on December 27, 2023 following the death of his boss, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
There has public outcry over alleged poor performance of his administration, mostly in infrastructure, since assuming office as the substantive governor of the state 21 months ago.
Aiyedatiwa in a message shared on WhatsApp platforms on Saturday by one of his aides, Oladipupo Okunniga, said the promotion of ORSC staff members was a major achievement of his government.
The message was titled “OSRC Staff Rejoice As Gov Aiyedatiwa Implement Major Promotion Drive.”
While celebrating the promotion of workers of the government-owned media outfit, the governor said that action had brought relief and joy to the affected staff members.
The message read: “In a significant move to revitalize the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC) and enhance the welfare of its workforce, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has implemented a major promotion initiative for several staff members who had been facing career stagnation for years.
“According to the DG/CEO OSRC Media Group, Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, this development marks a major milestone in the governor’s efforts to promote institutional reforms and improve the working conditions of public servants in the state.
