Abia State chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, will hold its rescheduled Ward Congress on Wednesday, 25th February, 2026 in the State.
The party will also hold the Local Government Congress on Thursday, 26th February in 2026.
This was made known in a statement from the APC caucus in Abia State.
It explained that the suspension of the exercise last week was to resolve internal friction in the State chapter of the APC, noting that unity has now been achieved.
The Abia APC caucus also said that the date for the State Congress remains Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026.
There have been strong speculations that Abia State Governor, Alex Otti would be joining the APC to pursue his second tenure, even though Otti’s media aides, Ferdinand Ekeoma and Dodoh Okafor have since dismissed the speculations.
