As Nigeria commemorates Armed Forces Remembrance and Celebration Day, Hon. Henry Baro, the Asiwaju of Delta State, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the nation’s fallen heroes, praising President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Dr. Francis Sheriff Oborevwori, JP, for prioritizing the welfare of military personnel and caring for the widows and children of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Baro expressed his profound gratitude to the leaders for their unwavering commitment to the well-being of the military community, stating that Nigerians are proud of those in service and pray for God’s protection as they go about their daily activities. He prayed for the souls of the fallen heroes, saying “May their sacrifices continue to inspire generations yet unborn”.
The Asiwaju of Delta State also commended Governor Oborevwori’s administration for its efforts in supporting the families of fallen heroes, noting that the governor’s leadership has been a beacon of hope for the people of Delta State.
