Iranians on Saturday evening celebrated the death of reportedly death of the Supreme Leader, 85-year-old Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Footage from social media showed people lighting off fireworks from their balconies and calling out to each other from their apartments.
Thefrontrank reports that Khamenei, who ruled the Islamic Republic for more than three decades, has died following the Israeli strike in Tehran, as his compound was reduced to rubble, a senior Israeli official has confirmed.
