Exodus: Another Aiyedatiwa’s aide resgns
Barely two weeks after three aides to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State resigned their appointments, another aide on Friday submitted letter of resignation.
Hon. Fola Olasehinde-Vicente, Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters to the Governor, is now the fourth aide to resign from her position.
Olasehinde-Vicente, a former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly (ODHA), announced her resignation in a letter dated February 27, 2026, addressed to Governor Aiyedatiwa.
Olasehinde-Vicente stated that she was exiting her position with “profound respect and a great sense of responsibility.”
The former lawmaker expressed gratitude to Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve in his administration.
She stated that her appointment had allowed her to contribute to the welfare and engagement of Ondo State indigenes in the diaspora.
She pledged her commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), and to remain a loyal and dedicated member of the ruling party.
Olasehinde-Vicente’s resignation follows a recent wave of departures from the governor’s cabinet.
Thefrontrank reports that three aides of Aiyedatiwa had resigned their appointments in the last two weeks.
They include Taiwo Ilesanmi Gbamila, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Multimedia to the Governor; Olugbenga Abire, the Special Assistant (SA) on media; and Yinka Richards, Special Assistant on Special Duties to the Governor.
