A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ondo State, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on the Supreme Court judgment affirming his victory in November 16, 2024 Governorship election.
Prof. Faduyile described the victory as a triumph for democracy and the collective will of the people of Ondo State.
According to him, the Supreme Court judgment not only confirmed the will freely expressed by the electorate, but has also strengthened citizens faith in the judiciary as the last hope of the common man.
He appealed to party faithful, stakeholders and the people of the state to support Governor Aiyedatiwa in building a more prosperous Ondo State.
Moving forward, Faduyile said this is the time to further unite, progress and render flawless service to the people rather than division.
On the health front, the former Special Adviser to Ondo State Government on Health Prof. Faduyile noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s government has enhanced health financing and extended the ORANGHIS contributory health insurance scheme.
He stated that the people in the informal sector such as traders, market women, and artisans can now benefit from the scheme.
“These efforts results in improved primary health infrastructure in the Sunshine State,” he said.
Furthermore, he noted that the innovative approach in infrastructure, especially the strategic rehabilitation of roads that connect communities to health facilities has reduced delays in emergency response, eased transportation of patients, and improved general mobility across the state.
Faduyile offered prayers for greater wisdom and strength for the Governor, affirming his belief that Aiyedatiwa’s administration would deepen the progressive legacy of the APC, expand the frontiers of inclusive development, and spread the dividends of democracy to every community across the Sunshine State.
