A former governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ondo State, Dr Victor Ayodeji Oritedi is dead.
He was aged 50.
The former APC governorship aspirant was said to have died on Tuesday evening in the hospital after a brief illness.
A terse message from one his media associates, David Aladesanmi, read:

Oritedi had in March 2024 stepped down for Chief Olusola Oke, one of the APC aspirants for the November 2024 governorship election.
He also collapsed his campaign structure into Olusola Oke Campaign Organisation (OOCA).
From a humble beginning, Oritedi was a globally recognised Business Development Specialist, an astute Agribusiness Professional, and a respected figure in the field of Agriculture development in Nigeria.
He had played a role in capacity building for MSMEs and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector through his work with USAID FTF Nigeria Agricultural Extension and Advisory Services activities implemented by Winrock International.
