
A former Head of Service of Ondo State, Toyin Akinkuotu, is dead.
Akinkuotu reportedly died on Thursday.
A statement by M. A. Akinkunmi described Akinkuotu as a dedicated public servant whose impact would remain unforgettable.
“With a heavy heart, we announce the demise of our beloved brother, the brain behind Lujama Heritage, the former Head of Service, in person of Barrister Toyin Akinkuotu, today, 11th September 2025.
“His legacy and contributions to the Ondo State Government and the Ondos will forever be remembered and cherished.
“May the good Lord grant him eternal rest,” the statement read.
The deceased was respected for his commitment to public service and his passion for cultural preservation.
He was also the founder of Lujama Heritage, an initiative that promoted community development and showcased Ondo’s rich cultural identity.
