The Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency(OSSAA) has condemned the unruly and unacceptable conduct displayed by John Kollyns, who harassed its officials during a lawful enforcement exercise on illegal signage structures.
The Agency expressed the displeasure in a statement issued in Akure on Thursday.
“Our officers were carrying out their statutory responsibilities in line with the enabling laws of Ondo State. Any attempt to obstruct, intimidate, or harass government personnel in the discharge of their lawful duties is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“We confirm that there is video evidence of the incident. The footage has been preserved and forwarded to the appropriate authorities for necessary action in accordance with the law.
“The Agency remains committed to maintaining professionalism, orderliness, and adherence to due process in all enforcement activities.
“We urge members of the public to cooperate with government officials and channel any grievances through lawful means,” the Agency stated.
