Presenting the Sport Utility Vehicle(SUV) to the monarch on Thursday, the Senator said that the gift was the extension of his goodwill, and continuous demonstration of respect and support for traditional institutions in the senatorial district.
According to him, the gesture is part of my programme of comfort for traditional Institutions, designed to enhance the dignity, mobility, and efficiency of royal fathers who play vital roles in grassroots peacebuilding, cultural preservation, and community development.
“Traditional rulers remain the custodians of culture and moral order in society, and as such, they deserve every form of support and recognition from political leaders,” Ibrahim said.
He further reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that more traditional rulers across Ondo South would benefit from the initiative in due time.
The lawmaker revealed that the next phase of the presentation would extend to the Ile Oluji/Okeigbo area, as part of his rotational plan to ensure that all traditional rulers in the senatorial district enjoy equal consideration and support.
In his remarks, Oba Amusehan appreciated the Senator for the gesture, describing him as a visionary leader with a deep sense of respect for culture and traditional heritage.
