A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State and Odigbo/Ile-Oluji-Oke-Igbo Federal Constituency aspirant, Mr Ayo Olugbenga Olumoyegun, FCA, has congratulated Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda on his re-election as the National Chairman of the ruling party.
The APC chieftain described the outcome of the party’s national convention in Abuja as a strong endorsement of Professor Yilwatda’s leadership.
Olumoyegun, in a statement personally signed, said the outcome reflects the trust and confidence delegates placed in Professor Yilwatda’s experience, leadership quality and commitment to the growth of the APC.
He added that the emergence of Professor Yilwatda comes at an important time in Nigeria’s political landscape and is expected to inspire optimism, stability and clear strategic direction for the ruling party at all levels.
He described the erudite scholar’s emergence as “a reaffirmation of the party’s commitment to progress, discipline and inclusive leadership”, expressing confidence in the new chairman’s capacity to steer the APC with vision, integrity and a renewed sense of unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
