The intractable leadership skirmish within the APC in Ondo State may force the Governor to defect to another party before 2027 as the Governor continues to lose against the young and vibrant Minister, while the torrent of endorsements of the Hon. Minister for Interior continue to gather momentum ahead of 2028.
The Governor sponsored someone to contest for the Coordinator of Ondo State Youth Network and he lost against the candidate of the Minister.
The Governor recently convened a stakeholders meeting, none of the three Senators in Ondo State attended the meeting, and only one out of the nine Rep Members in Ondo State attended the meeting which is Hon. Abiola Makinde who happens to be his campaign DG during the gubernatorial election, while eight others boycotted the meeting.
If the Governor has promised to give you National Assembly tickets, OYO lowa . I can beat my chest the Governor can’t determine any National Assembly candidates except he sponsors you in another party other than APC.
The game is becoming more interesting.
