The Ondo State Government will on Monday, October 20, 2025 commence a physical verification of the staff of the state-owned Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko(AAUA).
This is contained in a circular number AD/REG/CIR/58/VOL.VII/125, dated October 17, 2025 signed by the institution’s registrar, Olugbenga Arajulu.
Thefrontrank reports that the four-day verification exercise will commence from Monday, October 20 to Thursday, October 23, 2025.
The circular addressed to all staff members of the university is titled “A Visit of the State Government Verification Team to the University”.
The circular read: “I write on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olugbenga E. IGE, to inform all members of staff of the University that the Ondo State Government Verification Team will be visiting the University as from Monday, 20th October, 2025.
“The timetable for the physical verification exercise is as shown below.

Requirements for the verification and biometric exercise are as follows:
- Letter of appointment
- Letter of Confirmation of appointment
- Promotion letters
- Advancement/Conversion letter
- Educational certificates from O/Level to the highest qualifications.
- Approval for change of name
- BVN printout
- NIN printout
- Primary Six leaving Certificate
- Birth certificate
- Any other relevant certificates.
