Gunmen have reportedly abducted some worshippers from a church at Uso community in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Thefrontrank gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday during a church programme.
Sources in the community disclosed that the assailants stormed the church unexpectedly and forcibly took away some congregants to an unknown destination.
It was gathered that one of the victims escaped from the abductors shortly after the incident.
The Police Command in the state is yet to react to the incident, while the details are still sketchy.
It could be recalled that gunmen had last week invaded Ilu-Abo in Akure North Local Government, abducting a couple and shooting a neighbour during the attack.
Similarly, a traditional ruler, Oba Kehinde Falodun, the Alagamo of Agamo, in Akure North Local Government Area of the state was on Wednesday, February 18, killed by gunmen in his palace during a foiled kidnap attempt.
