Tragedy has struck the Dunamis International Gospel Centre as one of its pastors, Francis Ojo, reportedly died in a car accident while trying to escape from bandits.
The incident happened on Thursday, February 12, 2026, after Pastor Ojo concluded a crusade in Makurdi, Benue State.
His nephew, Abuja Richard Enemona, confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Friday.
He disclosed that the pastor ran into bandits carrying out an operation along the road.
In a desperate attempt to escape his attackers, Pastor Ojo was involved in a fatal crash and died instantly.
“My Uncle was coming from Makurdi yesterday after a crusade when he ran into bandits. He tried to escape but had an accident and died immediately,” Enemona wrote.
Enemona concluded his tribute with: “Rest well, Uncle Pastor Abraham Francis Aduh Ojo.”
The Pastor’s death has plunged Dunamis Church, his family and colleagues into deep sorrow.
