A legal practitioner, Mogbojuri Kayode has alleged the existence of a coordinated smear campaign by a group of politicians in Ondo State to demarket the Minister of Interior, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo popularly known to BTO.
Thefrontrank reports that Kayode raised the alarm in a post on his Facebook page.
According to him, the plan by the group is to blackmail promoters of Tunji-Ojo in Ondo State to demarket him.
The post read: “Last year, some groups of politicians in Ondo State assembled themselves and resolved to sponsor proxies to be blackmailing BTO that he has no results….they even claimed that by first week of January, they will start protests in Ondo State, Abuja and UK…. however, they have ran into hiding as they met a brick wall…..
“Now, intels have revealed that their new tactics is to be going after BTO’s promoters as they desperately look for what will demarket the Interior man.
“Anyways, from our side here we are waiting for you and our message is clear viz, Aiyedatiwa will not spend more than four years and within the four years, governance must be transparent and he must be held accountable.”
