The air was electric with excitement as *Rev. Anthony Ogugu’s Free Medical Outreach Programme kicked off at the Act of Faith Bible Church, Agbarho, on Monday, November 10, 2025.
The venue was abuzz with anticipation, like a hive of bees buzzing with activity, as beneficiaries gathered to access quality healthcare.
The programme began with praise and worship, setting the tone for a day of healing and hope. Rev. John Ogheneovo, the General Coordinator, was on hand to steer the ship, alongside other clergymen, ensuring a smooth and successful event.
As the saying goes, “A drop of honey attracts more flies than a ton of vinegar.” Rev. Ogugu’s selfless act has drawn people from far and wide, all eager to benefit from the free medical services. Beneficiaries were unanimous in their praise, thanking the organiser for this noble initiative.
Mr. Ewewu Ayadju, a beneficiary, was impressed with the programme, saying, “Gestures like this go a long way in elevating people’s conditions.” Pa Mathew Ogugu prayed for the brain behind the Free Medical, while Madam Ruth Oveya, a widow, was overwhelmed with joy, appreciating the organiser and personnel for their kindness and approach.
The programme continues until Friday, November 14, 2025, featuring a range of free tests and treatments, including:
- High Blood Pressure Test
- Typhoid and Malaria Drugs
- Respiratory Infection Test
- Diabetes Test
- Common Illnesses Drugs
Rev. Ogugu’s commitment to serving others is a shining example of the power of kindness and compassion. As he says, “A people who honor their leaders will be blessed with prosperity and peace.” We pray that his efforts will continue to inspire others to follow in his footsteps, bringing hope and joy to those in need.
The people of Agbarho and surrounding communities are indeed fortunate to have a leader like Rev. Ogugu, who is dedicated to making a difference in their lives. As the programme continues, we salute his team, led by Rev. John Ogheneovo , Rev. Edwin Igometi, and others for their tireless efforts in making this initiative a success.
