The Super Eagles of Nigeria qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations by hammering Mozambique 4-0 Monday night.
This is the first time the Super Eagles are winning their first four fixtures at the tournament in history.
The Super Eagles won all their Group C fixtures and again proved their superiority over the Mambas in Fez.
Ademola Lookman opened the scoring, before setting up Victor Osimhen doubled Nigeria’s lead before the break.
Osimhen got his brace almost immediately after being set up by Lookman again.
The fourth goal came after Akor Adams lashed in a powerful effort from inside the area.
Super Eagles will now meet the winner of Burkina Faso vs DR Congo in the quarter-finals.
