President Bola Tinubu will on Saturday depart Abuja for an official visit to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States, as part of his high-level engagements ahead of the end-of-year holidays.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed the itinerary in a statement on Friday night.
In Borno State, the President is scheduled to commission several projects jointly undertaken by the administration of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum and the Federal Government.
The projects are central to the ongoing infrastructure development and post-conflict recovery efforts in the North-East region.
In Maiduguri, Tinubu will also attend the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Borno, the President will proceed to Bauchi State on a condolence visit to the state government and the family of the late Islamic scholar and spiritual leader, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi.
The revered cleric, who was the leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, passed away on November 27.
After visiting Bauchi, President Tinubu will travel to Lagos State, where he is expected to spend the remainder of the end-of-year holidays.
The President will serve as the Guest of Honour at the annual Eyo Festival, scheduled for December 27 at the Tafawa Balewa Square.
