Dangote Refinery has extended the deadline for its initial public offering, IPO, by 14 days to give investors more time to invest in the mega refinery.
The spokesperson of Dangote Group, Anthony Chiejina, confirmed the extension to DAILY POST on Monday.
Dangote Refinery’s IPO, priced at N525 per share and targeting to raise N2.15 trillion ($1.6 billion), opened on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on September 14, 2026, with an initial closing date of October 13, 2026.
Since its launch, Dangote Refinery’s IPO has attracted significant attention in the capital market, as Nigerians and other Africans seek to acquire stakes in the 700,000-barrel-per-day refinery.
According to Dangote Group, the minimum subscription is 10 shares, requiring an investment of N5,250 before applicable charges.
The launch of the IPO also boosted the fortune of Dangote Group President, Aliko Dangote.
