The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Candidate in the November 16, 2024 governorship election in Ondo State, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye is dead.
Akingboye, a businessman cum politician, died on Wednesday at his residence in Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos.
His death was announced in a statement by his Media Adviser, Oyeniyi Iwakun.
Akingboye, who hailed from Okitipupa in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, was the Olowomeye I of Ikaleland.
The statement said Akingboye lived a fulfilled and purposeful life.
