Suspected gunmen have kidnapped a staff of the Akure North Local Government in Ondo State, Mr Gbenga, Sanni and took him to unknown destination.
Thefrontrank gathered that Sanni was abducted on Sunday evening by three gun wielding men.
Sources said that the incident occurred at about 7.00 p.m in front of his residence located at Ilu-Abo community in Akure North Local Government.
Sanni, a part-time pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), was abducted in front of his house in the presence of his children.
His wife was said to have narrowly escaped the attack.
“The armed men numbering three were said to have came out of the nearby bush and whisk him away,” the source disclosed.
Thefrontrank reports that no fewer than three residents of the community have been kidnapped in the last one month.
The Police Command in Ondo State is yet to issue statement on the incident as of the time of filling this report.
