Herbert Wigwe: We’re collaborating with US authorities, Access bank speaks

Access Bank says it is “collaborating” with the United States authorities who are investigating the fatal helicopter crash that led to the death of the bank’s chief executive, Herbert Wigwe.

The bank stated this in a statement titled “Important Announcement” on its X(former Twitter) handle while reacting to the crashed helicopter.

Access Bank, however, did not confirm the death of the billionaire banking Czar, Wigwe and others in the ill-fated chopper crash.

“We have received numerous inquiries concerning an airplane crash in the USA.

“Presently, we lack specific information; however, we are actively collaborating with US authorities who will furnish updates.

“Your understanding and support are valued, and we commit to keeping you informed promptly as we receive updates on the situation,” the statement reads.
