Hon. Henry Baro, the Asiwaju of Delta State and Director, Corporate Services, Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau(NSIB), has appealed to Urhobo sons and daughters to rally behind one another, stating that “we rise by lifting others up.”
This mantra underscores the importance of collective support and empowerment within the Urhobo community.
“We are stronger together, and it is not a crime to have Urhobo youths who are billionaires,” Hon. Baro noted.
He urged the youth to continue supporting the administrations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP.
Hon. Baro praised the leadership of Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, Honourable Minister for Aviation and Aerospace Development, and Hon. Chief Solomon Okporua Ighrakpata, Chairman, Board of Internal Revenue Services, among other prominent Urhobo leaders.
He emphasized the need for leaders to carry the youth along, providing them with a sense of belonging.
“When the youth are empowered, it lessens the burden of society,” he stated.
However, Hon. Baro warned of the dangers of *Pull Down Syndrome, a phenomenon that can undermine progress and unity.
He appreciated the Governor Sheriff-led administration for its series of empowerment programmes across the state, assuring the people that more opportunities are on the horizon.
“More empowerment is coming from the Federal and State,” he said, appealing for patience.
Hon. Baro applauded the RENEWED HOPE FOR MORE AGENDA, an evidence to the leadership of Mr President and Governor Sheriff, saying by working together and supporting one another, the Urhobo community can unlock its full potential and achieve greatness.
As the community looks to the future, Hon. Baro’s words serve as a reminder that collective progress is rooted in mutual support and empowerment. By lifting each other up, the Urhobo sons and daughters can rise to new heights of prosperity and success.
