Jimoh Ibrahim distributes Tinubu’s rice palliative

Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South Senatorial District, has distributed bags of rice to the people of the district.

The rice were shared on Tuesday among different strata and organizations in the district at University of Fortune, Igbotako, in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state.

Addressing some of the beneficiaries, Ibrahim disclosed that the bags of rice were part of the palliatives provided by the President Bola Tinubu-led administration for the people to cushion the effects of the economic hardship during the Yuletide.

Thefrontrank gathered that the rice were distributed to the six local government areas of Okitipupa, Irele, Ese-Odo, Ilaje, Odigbo and Ileoluji-Okeigbo that constituted the South Senatorial District.

He explained that the bags of rice had just been delivered and decided to distribute them as carefully apportioned by a committee set up.

The Federal lawmaker, however, donated N1 million to transport the bags of rice to different locations in the district.

Among the beneficiaries were traditional rulers, religious leaders, transport unions, including National Union of Road Transport Workers(NURTW), Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria(RTEAN) and others.

Present during the distribution were Muslim and Christian leaders, community leaders, All Progressives Congress(APC) representatives from all the 66 wards across Ondo South Senatorial District.
