JUST IN: Many feared dead as mosque collapses in Lagos during prayer

An unspecified number of worshippers have died in a mosque that collapsed in the Papa Ajao area of Lagos State.

It was learnt that the incident occurred on Sunday during afternoon prayers.

According to reports, several lifeless bodies have been recovered from the rubble, while those injured have been rushed to hospitals.

Efforts to get the reaction of SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command proved abortive as the did answer his calls.
