MY APPRECIATION AND MY UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF ONDO EAST/WEST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
There are moments in life that remind us that leadership is not about personal ambition but about the trust and confidence reposed in us by the people. With a heart filled with profound gratitude to Almighty God, I sincerely appreciate the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Ondo Kingdom, Ondo State, Nigeria and the diaspora for the confidence reposed in me as the party’s candidate to represent the good people of Ondo East/West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in the 2027 General Election.
This mandate is not merely a political victory; it is a sacred trust, a solemn responsibility and a call to selfless service. I accept it with humility, deep gratitude and a clear understanding of the enormous responsibility it places upon my shoulders.
I respectfully express my profound appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the National Leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), for his exemplary leadership, steadfast commitment to democratic ideals and unflinching dedication to strengthening our party and our nation. His visionary leadership continues to inspire countless Nigerians to believe in the possibilities of a greater Nigeria.
I equally extend my heartfelt appreciation to the National Working Committee (NWC) of our great party under the able leadership of our National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda. Their commitment to justice, fairness, transparency and internal democracy throughout the just-concluded National Assembly primary elections has further strengthened confidence in our party’s democratic processes. The credibility of the exercise is a testament to principled leadership and institutional integrity and for this, I remain sincerely grateful.
My profound gratitude also goes to my distinguished leader, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Honourable Minister of Interior, whose exemplary leadership, steadfast encouragement and unwavering commitment to justice, fairness and due process played a remarkable role throughout this journey. His calm disposition, political maturity and dedication to the unity and progress of our party continue to inspire many of us. His contributions to the growth, stability and success of the APC in Ondo State remain exceptional and deserving of the highest commendation. I remain deeply grateful for his invaluable support and confidence in my aspiration.
In the same vein, I extend my deep appreciation to all political leaders too numerous to mention who strongly believed in my capacity and vision to redefine representation for Ondo East/West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in 2027. I thank you so much.
The overwhelming love, prayers, support, encouragement and goodwill I received throughout this community-driven political journey were both inspiring and humbling. They have further strengthened my conviction that leadership must be hinged on listening, accessibility, sincerity, accountability and selfless service. For every word of encouragement, every prayer, every sacrifice and every act of support, I remain profoundly grateful.
As we move forward, it is important to remember that politics is a contest of ideas and aspirations. Whatever transpired during the journey of the primary elections should now be left in the past. Political differences should never become permanent divisions among brothers and sisters who share a common destiny. The true victory lies not in who wins a contest but in how united we remain afterward.
My aspiration to represent Ondo East/West Federal Constituency at the National Assembly was never driven by personal gain. It was born out of a genuine desire to serve, to amplify the voices of our people and to unite Ondo Kingdom on the path of long lasting progress and development. That commitment remains unchanged.
This is not the season for witch-hunting, bitterness, vindictiveness, malice, vendetta or the pursuit of narrow interests. Rather, it is a defining moment for reconciliation, unity and collective actions. The challenges confronting our people are bigger than individual differences and the future we seek can only be built through cooperation and mutual respect.
History teaches us that great communities rise when their people choose unity over division, vision over sentiment and progress over personal interests. Ondo Kingdom can only attain its full potential when every stakeholder sees himself or herself as a partner in development. We must therefore come together to chart a new course that is prosperous, inclusive, secure and progressive towards the Ondo Kingdom of our dreams.
As I continue my political engagements at the grassroots, I remain committed to giving every segment of our constituency a voice. I will continue to listen attentively, seek the counsel of our leaders and elders, engage our youths, empower our women and collaborate with stakeholders whose ideas can help attract meaningful development to our land. Every opinion will matter, every constructive suggestion will be valued and every genuine effort toward progress will be embraced.
At every crossroad geared towards development, wisdom shall guide our decisions, unity shall shape our actions and the collective interest of Ondo Kingdom shall remain our highest priority.
Together, we can build a stronger Ondo Kingdom. Together, we can redefine representation. Together, we can create a legacy of progress that future generations will be proud of.
