Ondo: NNPP guber candidate, Ayeni Oluwatosin withdraws from November election

The New Nigeria Peoples Party candidate in the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State, Ayeni, Oluwatosin Israel has withdrawn from the contest.

Ayeni’s withdrawal notice on Oath titled “Letter of Voluntary Withdrawal” was dated May 28, 2024 and addressed to the National Chairman of the party.

The letter reads: “I, Ayeni, Oluwatosin Israel, a governorship candidate of NNPP for the November 16, 2024 election in Ondo State, hereby voluntarily withdraw my candidacy from the contest.

“My withdrawal is in the best interest of our great party, NNPP,”.
