Tragedy as Ondo LG information officer suddenly dies
The Information Officer of Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, Mr Tayo Olademehin is dead.
He died in the early hours of Friday while participating in a conference orgarnised for Information Officers in Abuja.
Thefrontrank reports that Olademehin until his death, was the Chairman, Association of Local Government Information Officers (ALGIO), Ondo State chapter.
His sudden demise has thrown the entire Okitipupa Local Government into mourning with the council Chairman, Andrew Ogunsakin paying glowing tribute.
Ogunsakin described the untimely passing of the information officer as a painful and irreplaceable loss to the council, the media profession and the workforce.
He said: “On behalf of the government and people of Okitipupa Local Government, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the entire staff of the council, friends and associates.
“I pray that God grant them the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
