Barrister Wale Omoniyi has picked up his expression of interest and nomination forms under the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the House of Representatives seat in Okitipupa/Irele constituency.
With Ominiyi’s entry into the race, he will challenge other aspirants including the incumbent, Hon. Okunjimi Odimayo.
APC membes argue that the constituency is hungry for “vibrant, accessible and acceptable” leadership.
Speaking on picking the nomination form, Omoniyi said: “Today, I took a decisive step in my journey to serve the good people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency by obtaining my APC Nomination Form for the House of Representatives.
“This is not just about ambition—it is about responsibility, service, and a deep commitment to the progress of our people.
“Our grassroots consultations have shown one thing clearly: the people are ready, and the movement is growing stronger every day.
“I remain humbled by your support and inspired by your belief.
“Together, we will continue this journey with purpose, unity, and determination.
“The mission is clear. The time is now.”
