We have made significant progress in infrastructure development, Sanwo-Olu tells Lagosians

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State says his administration has made significant progress in infrastructure development in the state in the last four years.

Sanwo-Olu however, promised not to rest on his oars but to double his efforts towards delivering more projects and programmes to the people of the state.

The governor stated this at a Town Hall Meeting in the Lagos West Senatorial District on Thursday, where he engaged with citizens, discussed his administration’s achievements and received valuable feedback.

“We have made significant progress in infrastructure development, with over 70 kilometres of new roads and two kilometres of bridges completed in the district, along with ongoing projects.

“Our aim is to double our efforts in this second term, delivering more projects and programmes.

“We are also focused on improving healthcare access, enhancing security, and ensuring that laws are fair and just for all citizens.

“Your input is crucial in guiding our decisions and actions as we work to meet the needs of our community.

“These engagements are important to us and we will be replicating them across all senatorial districts in the state.

“We have major projects in the pipeline; the 4th Mainland Bridge and the Red Line Rail, these are projects we are looking forward to.
“Stay with us Lagosians on our journey to a greater Lagos rife with infrastructure development,” Sanwo-Olu said.

The Town Hall Meeting was attended by the Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, members of the State Executive Council, among others.
