The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, says the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will not be removed as an ordained pastor in the church.
Adeboye spoke during the monthly Holy Ghost Service held on Saturday at the Redemption Camp.
He explained that Oluremi Tinubu was ordained as an Assistant Pastor more than ten years ago, long before her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, showed any intention of running for the presidency.
He emphasised that the First Lady went through the full process of ordination and has not violated any of the church’s guidelines.
Adeboye added that the church will not bow to external pressure calling for her removal.
Thefrontrank reports that there was backlash in the social media over the ordination of Remi Tinubu as a pastor in the RCCG.
