Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has held a strategic meeting with the three ministers from the state ahead of the All Progressives Congress(APC) Presidential Campaign Rally scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in Akure.
It was learnt that the meeting, at the instance of Aiyedatiwa, was held on Monday night at the Ondo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
A statement on Tuesday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, confirmed the meeting between Aiyedatiwa and the three ministers.
“Last night, the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, received the Honourable Minister of Finance and the Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Prof. Taiwo Oyedele, the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Ayodele Olawande, at the Ondo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja,” Adeniyan said.
The meeting forms part of the ongoing consultations and preparations for the rally.
The rally is expected to attract party leaders, stakeholders and supporters as part of the party’s activities for the 2027 general elections.
Thefrontrank reports that the Ondo State chapter of the APC had earlier constituted a 228-member Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 elections.
