Flying Eagles crash out of African Games after second defeat in three matches

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles on Friday crashed out of the football event at the ongoing African Games in Accra, Ghana.

The Ladan Bosso-led side lost 3-2 to Senegal in their final Group B.

The Flying Eagles needed at least a point to progress into the semi-finals.

It was the team’s second defeat in three group stage fixtures.

In their opening game against Uganda, the Flying Eagles lost 2-1.

They bounced back from the opening game loss by edging South Sudan.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t get at least a point to join Uganda in the last four.
