Jonathan’s Chief of Staff, Arogbofa slumps, dies
Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Jones Oladeinde Arogbofa(rtd), is dead.
He was 72 years old.
Thefrontrank gathered that Arogbofa slumped and died on Saturday morning in Abuja.
Born on 10 November 1952 in Oka-Akoko, Akoko South/West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Arogbofa was commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 1973.
He was Jonathan’s Chief of Staff from February 10, 2014 to May 29, 2015.
Arogbofa attended University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Alabama, United States Army Command and General Staff College, University of Lagos, and University of Ibadan.
Until his death, he was the Chairman, Centre for Research, Information Management and Media Development (CRIMMD).
