DEMOCRACY DAY MESSAGE FROM BARR. WALE OMONIYI AYADI
Dear Good People of Okitipupa, Irele, and Ondo State,
As we commemorate this year’s Democracy Day, I extend my warm greetings and heartfelt appreciation to every citizen whose faith in democracy continues to strengthen our nation.
June 12 remains a symbol of courage, sacrifice, justice, and the collective determination of Nigerians to build a society founded on freedom, accountability, and the rule of law. It reminds us that democracy thrives when citizens actively participate in governance and hold firmly to the values of unity, peace, and progress.
Today, I urge us all to remain steadfast in our commitment to a better Ondo State and a greater Nigeria. While challenges may exist, we must never lose hope in our collective ability to overcome them through constructive engagement, responsible leadership, and unwavering patriotism.
The future we desire can only be achieved through unity of purpose, hard work, and a shared commitment to the development of our communities. Let us continue to support policies and initiatives that promote economic growth, youth empowerment, quality education, security, and improved living standards for all.
As we celebrate Democracy Day, let us honor the sacrifices of our democratic heroes by working together to build a peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive society where every citizen has the opportunity to succeed.
