JUST IN: Lagos PDP Chairman Aivoji kidnapped, abductors demand N200m
Suspected kidnappers have abducted the Chairman, Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Philip Aivoji, and some party chieftains.
They were said to have been kidnapped on Thursday, January 25, at Ogere area along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway around 6 pm, while returning to Lagos from the PDP South-West Zonal meeting held in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
It was further learnt that another member of the Lagos State PDP Exco, who was said to have escaped from being kidnapped, is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
Sources who craved anonymity revealed that the abductors are demanding N200 million for the release of the party leaders.
