A notorious terrorist kingpin, Bello Turji has forced a kidnapped woman to name her newborn child after him while she was held in his captivity.
The gang leader reportedly held a naming ceremony, bought a ram, and increased the mother’s ransom to recoup the costs of the celebration.
This grim ordeal was revealed to the public through a caller on Brekete Radio.
The caller explained that his brother’s wife was kidnapped, gave birth in bandit captivity, and Bello Turji named the child after himself before increasing the ransom, saying he bought a ram for the naming ceremony.
According to the victim’s relative, the woman was kidnapped while pregnant and gave birth in the bandits’ camp. Turji organized a naming ceremony for the child, bought a ram for the occasion, and then added the expenses of the ceremony onto the overall ransom fee to recoup his money from the family.
